Who is ClickPLAY?
ClickPLAY is an Internet an application software development company with offices located in Boulder, Colorado and Los Angeles, CA. We were founded in December of 1998 and incorporated in December of 1999. ClickPLAY Inc. is a media network providing next generation applications, products, and services for the Internet and wireless devices. Fundamental to every product, service, or application we provide is the belief in these core concepts:

1. Media should be easy to interact with.
2. Media should invite a personal, emotional response.
3. Media should be as easy to find as it is to experience

ClickPLAY was the first company on Earth to stream movie and music previews directly to GSM cell phones with video screens. This was a commercial demonstration to cell phone carriers in Asia and Europe.

How does your technology work?
ClickPLAY harnesses the best of existing technologies and infrastructures to create a powerful platform. We use java applets, which 95% of users can utilize to experience media on their computers with absolute ease.  ClickPLAY has combined streaming MPEG-4 and JAVA to allow us to permeate the Internet, broadband networks, and existing 2G, and the new 2.5G and 3G wireless networks. In addition, we utilize an impressive distribution network to create the type of wide exposure, or ubiquity, that our customers require. When combined with customization and lifestyle technologies that access user preference databases, the result is a product that marries the best of technology and business with the best of theater.

From the beginning, we have developed our technology with the customer foremost in our minds, instead of developing a specific technology then searching for ways to apply it. Our aim has been to take all of the mechanical parts of the experience and make them as transparent as possible. It's a development philosophy that's given us more than we could have hoped for.
